All spot Bitcoin ETFs see inflows, analyst doubts dynamics will repeat

Bitcoin ETF Inflows Surge

All 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced inflows for the first time since their launch in January, as reported by Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas on May 3. Despite previous outflows and Bitcoin’s fall below $60,000, over 95% of investors held their capital in the funds.

Balchunas remains optimistic about the spot ETF market, anticipating a mix of inflows and outflows over time with a focus on net growth and strong hands. Grayscale Investments’ spot Bitcoin ETF recorded net inflows for the first time in May, while BlackRock’s fund has seen significant growth with over $15 billion in net inflows.

Record Inflows for Bitcoin ETFs

On May 3, capital inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $378.2 million, marking a positive trend following a record withdrawal of $563.7 million from cryptocurrency ETFs on May 1. The market seems to be regaining momentum with increasing investor confidence.
